The Camp Knife:
- Made from 5160H steel stock (leaf spring) purchased from Security Steel Supply Co. USA
- Haas CNC machined with fillet corner radii
- 25-degree primary grind
- Heat Treatment: Quenched and tempered over five hours
- 0.2-inch extra thick spine with sharp 90-degree corners
- Serial number electro-etched: “2026####, 5160USA, 13IG.COM”
- Slow-rust blued, creating iron oxide (magnetite) for rust prevention
- Sharpened to a hair-cutting edge with a water-cooled Swedish Tormek
- Shipped with a pre-wrapped kaleidoscope paracord handle wrap
The Sheath:
- Soft friction fit for secure retention
- Gunmetal Gray genuine Sekisui Kydex (0.080" thickness)
- 0.25" hollow rivets (8 count)
- Paracord weave serves as a belt loop or necklace
- Drain hole at the knife tip
The Ring with Toggle:
- 5160H steel (same as knife)
- Haas CNC machined with fillet radii for strength and cord-friendly edges
- Heat-treated, quenched, and tempered same as the knife
- Slow-rust blued for rust prevention
- Ideal for looping paracord around trees
- Rounds out the necklace system to hang other camp essentials
- NOT for life support or body weight; use proper triple-action carabiners for that

Maintenance:
- 2 fl oz of Lucas Gun Oil included to maintain steel and prevent rusting
- Slow-rust bluing can be reapplied at home if the finish scratches. Clean the knife, intentionally rust with hydrogen peroxide, salt, and vinegar, then submerge in boiling water. Repeat approximately 10 times, oil, and wet-sand with 1200-grit paper.
- Do not overheat the steel above 300°F, as this will affect the temper and hardness.
